As you'll see below, we are looking for additional professionals to assist our 501(c)(3) in creating awareness and providing access to our free, grant-funded Capital Acquisition Plan (CAP) offering access to capital for small business owners.
The Small Business Mentor role was developed by a team of current and former SCORE Mentors (see www.Score.org), Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Advisors, and business bankers to provide the targeted financial literacy to small business owners needed to access capital.
While there are numerous non-profits in the marketplace, they are unable to meet the demand and have very small penetration. We are working with Innovative Capital Solutions, Inc. ("ICS") to develop a national network of Small Business Mentors to serve the 28 million small businesses in the US. By leveraging ICS, we are able to administer a grant-funded program while providing an entrepreneur-based opportunity for individuals to monetize this valuable service.
SIGNIFICANT INCOME OPPORTUNITY
As as a Small Business Mentor, there is no cost to collaborate but an opportunity to earn a significant income by helping entrepreneurs have access to a guaranteed $100,000 of business credit/funding. Literally, earn ~$2,000 (or more) for mentoring each small business!
Please keep in mind, our Business Credit Building and Capital Ready Programs are an ideal fit for pre-launch, start-ups, or existing small businesses. Thus, we can help provide funding for someone with just a dream needing capital to get started just as well as for operating endeavors looking for additional capital to grow. Applicable for non-profits as well.
WHO CAN BECOME A SMALL BUSINESS MENTOR?
The Small Business Mentor role is great for professionals who already work with small business owners, i.e., insurance/financial advisors, CPAs, bankers, etc. who are looking for door opener and differentiator. However, we can train anyone to be successful as a Small Business Mentor so there are no prerequisite knowledge or education. Small Business Mentors will need to pass a background check and become licensed though.
